Florian has been a LEGO fan ever since he discovered his first LEGO Set underneath the Christmas tree at the age of four. Nowadays his adventures take him into the present and the future: Since 2015 he is driving the topic of digitalization for the LEGO GmbH in Europe Central. Together with his e-Commerce team he develops and deploys technological solutions with and for retail partners to both optimize and automate LEGO products and sales performance in terms of findability, viewability, shoppability and measurability.
He joined the German leadership team as of 2018. Previously, Florian spent 12 years in the U.S., most recently as the Head of Marketing the Americas for Lufthansa. He gained further practical experience working for B/S/H/, BMW, Henkel and Siemens. Florian holds a dual MBA degree in Marketing and Strategic Management from the California State University, East Bay, as well as a “Diplom Betriebswirt” degree (Bachelor of Business Administration equivalent) from the School of International Business (ESB) at Reutlingen University.
He greatly enjoys Basketball, Badminton, Strategy Games, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
