Marc Verelst, is owning the Physical Internet research portfolio at the Procter & Gamble Supply Network Innovation Center (SNIC) in Brussels. Born in Antwerp, Belgium, Marc holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp and an Executive MBA degree at Vlerick Business School. At this moment he is enrolled in the Doctoral Program on Supply Chain Management at KU Leuven University. He joined Proctor & Gamble in 1999 and completed several operational assignments in Supply Chain Planning, Customer Logistics & Physical Distribution in Belgium, France & Netherlands. As of 2013, Marc joined P&G Supply Network Innovation Center. The Physical Internet research portfolio which he manages is focused on synchromodality, collaboration, modular shipping units, supply chain visualization and risk management.
